| Lords Hill Model Flying Club |
|
The club was established 12 years ago and is
affiliated to the B.M.F.A. The clubs formation was to accommodate all types and
sizes of models from the humblest trainer to large (but well silenced) petrol
engined aircraft. There is a strong and growing electric glider section who
make good use of the all round "slope lift" and the frequent procession of
thermals. These excellent gliding conditions are also enjoyed mid-week, and at
weekends, by a keen group of aero towing enthusiasts. All these disciplines fly
harmoniously together and, because the site is available 7 days a week, it is
never crowded and there is seldom any wait for a "peg". |
