The Western Area Committee |
The Western Area Committee is made up of nine
Committee members and a number of Club Delegates. Any member of the BMFA is
entitled to attend the Area Committee Meetings but only one delegate from each
of the Western Area Club's are entitled to make proposals and vote on them. Any
other member can contribute to a debate.
Area Committee Meetings are held generally one
week prior to Full or Area Council meetings and are usually held on a Monday
evening at the Filton Folk Centre,
Filton, Bristol commencing at 20:00 Hrs. Check this site regulary for
notice of meetings. Copies of agendas and minutes of meeting can be downloaded
from the archive page. You can contact any of the
Committee Members by clicking on the job title above.
Important Notice
There is one vacancy on the Area Committee -
Public Relations Officer. Any fully paid up member of the BMFA who is a member
of an affiliated club may apply to fill the position. Application should be
made in the first iinstance to the Area Secretary or please feel free to attend
the next committee meeting and offer your services. Your offer of assistance
will be greatly appreciated. |
